The Cottage at Tapawingo Place, is one of the last remaining dovetailed log homesteads in the area. Built by a James Rennie in 1913 and updated in the late 1990’s, the cottage is available for rent from May 1st until late October.
Young and old will enjoy the sandy beach and the calm waters of Oxtongue Lake. Relax on the deck, dwell in the shadow of mature trees, fish for trout and bass or watch the kids explore the beach.
Wake up to the call of the common loon, listen to the blue jays, crows, ravens and chickadees or watch a hummingbird outside the dining room windows.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Explore the natural scenery of Oxtongue Lake or take in the many attractions of AlgonquinPark.
Oh, and don’t go and forget your camera.
