Also of interest is the Logging Museum (53 km), with a 2 km historical display. The park has nature programs for children and adults, walking and bicycle trails, bike rentals, picnic sites, canoe instructions, and public “Wolf Howls” weekly during August.
Ragged Falls 2 miles (3km)
With access by water or trail, the rocks and the top of the falls are a favourite picnic site.

Explore the series of rapids and rock cuts along the Oxtongue River or take the bridge to a picnic site and walking trail.

This nearby town is handy if you need a, liquor store, library, marine supplies,, or wonderful, fresh baked goods from Henrietta’s Pine Bake Shop or the Wild Flour Bake Shop.

Some sites of interest include Robinson’s General Store, voted best general store in Canada, and the Scenic tower which boasts a breathtaking view (formerly used as a fire lookout tower).
